Nature Reserve and Pond
Clive has volunteered to manage the pond and nature reserve. He proposes to tidy the area and manage it. Jim Buchan has guaranteed that the council will fence off the area officially. Everyone will still have access but the area will be clearly marked. The fence was erected on 12 June during the clean up day so we will need plenty of helpers.

Clean up Day 12th June
As well as the pond being fenced. Many people have stones hard core etc on their plots to get rid of so it was suggested on clean up day every one takes as much as they can to entrance to fill the pot holes. Other jobs to include the tree by the gate to be trimmed again.

Bee Keeping

Tim requested that he be able to put a hive on the nature reserve. This has already been officially authorised by Jim Buchan and Clive is more than happy to have them. Tim as a member of Twickenham Bee keepers association has the necessary insurance. Tim also offered to manage a hive on behalf of the association free of charge. This will be built during clean up day.
